Valsi Corporation Recall of Generators with Plastic Fuel Tanks For Fire Hazard
What was recalled
The Valsi "G" model G38MG0750RV, G42MG0750RV, G55MG0900RV, and G65MG1100RV are portable generators with black plastic fuel tank, full lifting frame, and side control panel. The recalled generators are black with blue label and have "Valsi Generator" printed on the label.
Hazard
The fuel tanks can crack and leak fuel, posing a risk of fires and burn injuries.
Injuries
There have been 67 reports of fuel tank leaks. There have been no reported injuries.

- Wal-Mart stores in Florida Gulf coast region; Highway Equipment and Supply, Orlando, FL; and Florida Department of Transportation, Orlando, FL sold these generators from September 2004 through August 2005 for between $400 and $900.
