What was recalled
The recall involves Lane's Glider Recliners, model numbers 2056 and 2085. Affected recliners have a manufacture date between June 2008 and October 2008. The model number, manufacture date and 9-digit serial number can be located beneath the footrest of the recliner.
Hazard
The base of the chair, if installed backwards, can allow the chair to tip-over backwards, posing a fall hazard to consumers.
Injuries
The firm has received one report of the recliner tipping-over backwards, causing the consumer to fall to the floor.
