CPSC, Scag Power Equipment Announce Recall of Tiger Cub Lawn Tractors
What was recalled
The recalled zero-turn-radius riding lawn tractors are "Cat's Eye Gold" with black trim, and have a vinyl seat. The body of the tractor has "Scag Tiger Cub" written in red on the side and front of the tractor. The following model and serial numbers can be found under the seat, next to the hydraulic pump on the right hand side. Fuel can leak out of the carburetor, posing a risk of fire and burn injuries.
Injuries
Scag is aware of 20 incidents, all of which involved fires and damage to tractors. Two consumers received minor burn injuries to their hands as a result of trying to put out fires involving these lawn tractors.
