CPSC, Pier 1 Imports Announce Recall of Tea Light Candleholders
What was recalled
These Beaded Fish tea light candleholders are red, pink or blue, and about 4 inches high and 8 inches long. The price sticker reads "Pier 1," "China," and "SKU 1997504," SKU 1998132" or "SKU 1998145."
Hazard
The beads on these tea light candleholders can catch fire during use.
Injuries
Pier 1 has received 10 reports of these candleholders either melting or catching fire, causing some minor property damage. No injuries have been reported.

- Pier 1 Import stores nationwide and on the firm's Web site, from February 2004 through May 14, 2004, for about $10.
