CPSC, Murray Inc. Announce Recall of Riding Lawn Tractors

What was recalled

The recalled lawn tractors were sold under the MURRAY® and STANLEY® brand names and have 38-, 40-, 42-, 46-, and 52-inch cutting decks. The brand name is printed on the front or side of the lawn tractor and the model number can be found on a nameplate under the seat. Where it was sold

• Retail and hardware stores, including Wal-Mart and Home Depot, sold the lawn tractors nationwide, from November 2000 through January 2003, for between $800 and $1,500.
