CPSC, Miracle Recreation Equipment Company Announce Recall of Public Playground Equipment Swing Seats
What was recalled
The recalled swing seats are made of blue polymer material with "Miracle M" embossed on the topside of the seat and an "M" on the underside, above the date code.
Hazard
Metal inserts inside the swing seats can wear through and cause lacerations to children.
Injuries
Two children have been injured and received stitches to lacerations on an arm and a leg, from exposed metal on edges of swing seats.
Where it was sold
- Miracle Recreation Equipment Company sold the swing seats nationwide, from June 2001 to September 2002, for use on public playground equipment.
