What was recalled

Hazard

An electric heating element inside the system, that is used primarily in the dehumidification process, can short circuit and produce sparks, posing a smoke and fire risk.

Injuries

No injuries have been reported.

Where it was sold

  • Liebert Corp. sold these units nationwide, from January 1998 through August 2000, for between $3,000 and $8,000.
