What was recalled
The recall involves Fujika kerosene heaters/cookers Models KSP-229 and KSP-231 Hi-Pet Heaters/Cookers.
Hazard
The recalled units are not approved for use indoors. Use indoors can lead to injury and possibly death from carbon monoxide poisoning. The cookers also do not have an automatic extinguishing mechanism that would operate if they turned over, and lack adequate guarding.
