CPSC, Byer of Maine Announce Recall to Exchange TriLite Stools
What was recalled
This recall includes Byer of Maine TriLite Stools shipped between February 19, 2004 and June 16, 2004. The affected stools are only those that have been produced in China, specifically those that bear the Byer of Maine logo screen printed in silver ink on the plastic leg hub.
Hazard
The legs of the stool can bend and the stools may collapse, when used on smooth hard floor surfaces.
Injuries
Several stool collapses reported by retailers. No injuries have been reported.
