What was recalled
The recall involves certain Ski-Doo Model Year 2006 REV500 SS, REV 600 HO, and REV 600 HO SDI snowmobiles. Hazard
Cracks could appear in the starter ring gears, allowing gear fragmentation at high speeds. The debris could act like projectiles and cause serious injury or death to riders or bystanders.
Injuries
Bombardier has not received any reports of incidents or injuries.

- Ski-Doo dealers nationwide from August 2005 through November 2005 for between $5,000 and $9,750.
