CPSC, American Honda Motor Co., Inc. Announce Recall of ATVs
What was recalled
Only the 2002 model-year Honda TRX450 FE/FM and TRX 250 TE/TM are involved in this recall. The TRX 450 FE/FM model has "Foreman" written on the side of the fuel tank. The TRX 250 TE/TM model has "Recon" written on the side of the fuel tank.
Hazard
Some wheels have not been properly welded. The wheel could collapse while riding, possibly resulting in serious injury.
Injuries
None reported.
Where it was sold
- Honda dealers sold these ATVs nationwide, from September 2001 to October 2001, for between $4000 and $6000.
